KB1003 - License Types

Monthly Licenses

Monthly licenses include maintenance (bug fixes and upgrades) while your subscription is active. Organization licenses also include support. Monthly licenses do not include a perpetual license.

Perpetual Licenses

Perpetual licenses include maintenance (bug fixes and upgrades) for one year from purchase. Organization licenses also include support for one year. You can continue to use your perpetual license after your maintenance has expired but you will no longer be able to upgrade nor receive support. Renewals will extend the perpetual license period along with maintenance and support.

License Count

The quantity of licenses required is based on product. PowerShell Pro Tools is licensed per user. Organization licenses are floating and concurrent. Individual licenses are intended for one person. PowerShell Universal is licensed per server. The Ironman Bundle is licensed per user.
